Description

No. 212 Drove Road is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone set in black mortar, with an ashlar limestone plinth, quoins, and dressings. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The building is two stories high and has a cellar, featuring three bays and two rooms deep, with side stacks. There is a later extension on the right side. The central entrance has an arch-headed rusticated doorcase that contains a four-panel door and a radial fanlight above. The windows are 16-pane sashes with ashlar architraves and sills, and there is a plat band and wide eaves.
