Description

This is an early 19th century villa located on Westerleigh Road, Downend. The exterior is rendered over a rubble core, with brick quoins providing definition. The roof is slate, hipped, and features projecting eaves and a central chimney stack. The facade is characterised by glazing bar sashes, with one window blind on the ground floor to the left. A central doorway is topped by an open pediment supported on three-quarter columns, with urn reliefs decorating the frieze of the capitals. The doorway has a six-panel door and a later traceried fanlight. A lower two-storey extension is visible to the right, and a taller extension was added to the rear at a later date. The interior features a large central hall.
