Description
This chest tomb, located three yards to the southeast of the chancel of St. Andrew's Church, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features sunken square panels, although the inscriptions are illegible. The tomb is adorned with enriched pilasters, a moulded plinth, and a cornice. This chest tomb is part of a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhances the setting of the church.
