Description

The walls, piers, gate piers, and gates at the east entrance to Home Farm, The Rocks, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coped, coursed squared rubble and feature serpentine walls. The outer piers are rusticated and have a moulded cornice topped with ball finials on pedestals. The inner gate piers are similar in style, and the decorative wrought iron gates have banded ball finials on stalks. These gates serve as the main entrance to The Rocks.
