Description

The gate-piers and walls at the east entrance to the Old House date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from stone rubble and feature rectangular gate-piers with flat slate coping. These gate-piers are flanked by curved stone rubble walls, which also have slate coping, and are complemented by engaged stone rubble terminal piers.
