Description

Rockwell Farmhouse is a late 19th-century farmhouse built of stone rubble with brick dressings and features a rag slate roof with half-hipped ends and brick end stacks. The building has a double depth plan with a central entrance that is flanked by two principal rooms. The right side of the house is set slightly back, creating a very shallow rear wing. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front, with brick segmental arches above the openings. The entrance consists of a 19th-century four-panel door, flanked by two 19th-century 12-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are three additional 19th-century 12-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
