Description
The Isaac monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 13 metres south-west of the tower of the Church of St Mary Magdalene. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge, a moulded base, and a cornice. It has corner pilasters and central pilasters on the north and south sides, which are elaborately carved. The east side has a raised oval with a carved surround, while the west side displays a raised circular panel with a scallop shell. The south and north sides each have two raised shields. The inscriptions on the monument are tuck-pointed, but the date is indecipherable.
