Description

No 20 High Street is a late 16th-century building constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys tall with an attic in the gable. The façade features two 1-3-1 light ovolo moulded mullion and transom bays, with a central recessed area. On the first floor, there are two high mullion and transom casements that project over a modern shopfront and doors on the ground floor. An additional bay has been added in the attic. Inside, the building has a collar beam roof and chamfered beams on the first floor.
