Description

The Magistrates Court, originally built as a Police Station in 1860, is located on Thornbury High Street. The building features a rendered exterior with painted quoins and a slate roof that is set behind a parapet and a modillioned cornice. It is two storeys high and has two tripartite sash windows, each with moulded architraves. A central Ionic porch made of ashlar leads to a four-panel door that includes an overlight.
