Description
Nos 16 and 16A on High Street are a late 18th century remodelling of a 17th century building. The exterior is rendered and features a hipped pantile roof behind a parapet and cornice. The structure stands three storeys tall and has one window with 16-pane glazing bar sash and an architrave. There is a large later bay on the ground floor, with a four-panel door to the right that has a decorative overlight. To the left, a modern door has been replaced by a fixed screen. Inside, the cellar contains a re-used ovolo moulded mullion window, and the room at the rear features a segmental headed fireplace with a keystone and ovolo moulded jambs.
