Description

Park House is a mid-19th century detached house located in the grounds behind Nos 12, 14, and 16 on Thornbury High Street. The building is rendered and sits on a rubble plinth, featuring hipped slate roofs that are set behind parapets. It has three bays, with two outer wings that are two stories tall, each containing a single marginal glazing bar sash window. The center of the house features a three-story tower with a cross-stepped gable and a Doric portico on antis. On the garden elevation, the wings are more pronounced, and there is a Tuscan column conservatory on the ground floor between the wings, which is adorned with a cast iron balustrade above.
