Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century remodelling of a building that likely originated in the 16th or 17th century. The building is rendered and has a pantile roof. It is two storeys in height. The first floor has two four-pane sash windows. A projecting oriel window is located on the north side (right), featuring casements with a 3-4-1-light arrangement and a catslide roof. The ground floor has two bays with modern glazing and a modern central door, all under a continuous roofline. Internally, there is evidence of a raised roof and large stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops on both floors. A bread oven is located in a room at the rear. A portion of what is probably a much altered, medieval cottage is incorporated at the rear of the building.
