Description
No 34 on High Street is a building from the mid to late 18th century, likely remodeled. It has a rendered exterior that is lined out to resemble ashlar stonework and features a double Roman tiled roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has three windows, along with an additional window in a south extension. All windows are four-pane sashes set beneath lined voussoirs. The ground floor has two 19th-century bays and a modern central door beneath a continuous roof, with a modern door and window to the left. An ornamental frieze may represent part of a Stafford Cadge knot. Inside, there is part of what is likely a medieval cottage at the rear.
