Description
The Orchard chest tomb, located 11 metres south of the southeast corner of the south porch of the Church of St Mary, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features square inscribed panels, reeded pilasters, and a moulded cornice. This chest tomb is part of a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhances the setting of the church.
