Description
The Wing Chest Tomb, located 4 yards southwest of the south door of St. Leonard's Church, dates from around 1785. It is made of limestone ashlar and features inscribed panels with decorative borders, figures, and cherubs. The tomb has scrolled ends, along with a moulded plinth and cornice. This chest tomb is part of a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs, significantly enhancing the church's setting.
