Description

The Hollies and Hollies Cottage are an early 19th-century house, subsequently divided into two dwellings. The construction is of rendered walls with freestone dressings, topped by a double-Roman tile roof with raised, coped verges. The main part of the house is two storeys high with three windows. A later wing adds two further windows. A central six-panel door is sheltered by a plain fanlight with an open pediment supported by corbels. The windows are 16-pane sash windows with plain plaster architraves, except over the doorway where the window is round-headed and contains gothic tracery. Plain end pilasters rise to a cornice and a low, plain parapet.
