Description

The garden wall attached to the northeast of Manor Farmhouse dates back to the 15th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It serves as a boundary to the north with the Church of St. Mary Magdalene. Constructed from limestone rubble, the wall features stone copings and door surrounds. It stands approximately 2 meters high and extends about 70 meters in the north range, forming an L-shape that extends about 50 meters in the east range. The east range includes a door with a segmental head, while the north range features a door with a 4-centred arched head and a surround of three hollow chamfered orders. The heavy door, likely from the 19th century, is fitted with re-used strap hinges and an iron handle.
