Description

Briar Cottage and the adjoining cottage are a pair of estate cottages built in the early to mid 19th century. They are rendered and feature a hipped roof made of Cotswold stone slate with overhanging eaves. The cottages have rubble and ashlar stacks with projecting bands. The buildings are two storeys high and have a symmetrical layout with one slightly advanced centre section, a steep gable above the two inner windows, and two outer doors. The windows are two-light casements, with 20th-century windows in Briar Cottage and decorative lead glazing in the left house. Both cottages have 20th-century doors.
