Description
Jockey Row is a row of five estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone slate roof that features decorative bargeboards on the end gables. The cottages have ashlar and brick chimney stacks with a cornice. The buildings are single storey with attics, which are highlighted by ten gabled dormers that also have decorative scalloped bargeboards. No. 1 has three bays, while Nos. 2 to 5 are two bays each. The cottages feature 2-light casement windows with lead cames, although some of these windows are blocked. There is a mix of 20th-century and original plank doors, which are located under hoods. Additionally, there is a single storey projecting wing at the right end, associated with No. 5.
