Description

Badminton Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was remodeled around 1830. It features a rendered exterior and a Cotswold stone slate roof with coped raised verges, as well as ashlar stacks with a moulded cornice. The building has an L-plan layout with a projecting wing at the southwest end. It is two storeys high with attics in the south wing, which includes dormer windows at the rear and a stone gable at the front. Each wing has two bays, and the windows are 2- and 3-light casements with plain surrounds. The south wing has a square bay, while the west wing features a canted bay with glazing bar sashes. There is an open ashlar porch in the re-entrant angle, with a panelled door that has a 4-centred head.
