Description
This is a former road bridge built in 1831 over the Avon and Gloucestershire Tramway, locally known as the Dramway. The bridge features battered abutment walls made of pennant rubble, which are curved in plan. It has a lias string and quoins, along with an elliptical arch that includes a plain keystone. Locally, it is referred to as the Ghost bridge. This structure is part of a group of buildings related to a horse-drawn tramway that served the local coal pits.
