Description
Brook Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700, situated below road level. It is two storeys high, with rendered walls and a pantile roof punctuated by three ridge chimneys. The front elevation features three windows on the first floor, and a two-window plus two-window arrangement on the ground floor, all with 2-light and 3-light casement windows. A through-passage door is located centrally to the right. A single-storey outbuilding, also with a through-passage, adjoins the farmhouse to the right (east). The interior is reported to be interesting, with chamfered beams on the ground floor and a winder staircase.
