Description

Poplar Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Iron Acton. The building features a roughcast exterior and a double Roman tile roof, with brick gable stacks. It has a cross passage and stands 2½ storeys tall, with five windows plus one in a single-storey extension to the right. All the windows are 19th-century casements, either two or three lights. The farmhouse has two gables topped with ball finials and a central hipped porch that surrounds a studded, plank door set in a chamfered frame. The interior was not seen during the last survey.
