Description

This pair of gate piers and steps, located about 12 metres north of the Old Rectory, dates from the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone and feature square, V-jointed rusticated piers that stand approximately 2 metres high on plinths. Each pier has a cornice topped with a small urn that has a fluted design. The structure is complemented by four splayed steps leading up to the gate.
