Description

The structure consists of steps, a wall, and piers located about 8 metres south of Bury Manor, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone and sandstone. The steps are splayed and feature side walls that are approximately one metre high. These walls are coped and ramped down at the sides, leading to plain piers at each end. At the top of the steps, there is a pair of square piers with slightly hipped tops that have a moulded edge, and all piers are set on plinths. The steps themselves have sandstone treads.
