Description

Boyd Bridge is a bridge over the River Boyd, built in 1787. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with stone dressings. The bridge features three low arches with segmental heads, extending approximately 12 metres from east to west. It has buttressed piers with broached cutwaters, and the rubble walls above the arches are about 2 metres high. The bridge extends around 12 metres from north to south and has the same elevation on both the north and south sides.
