Description
This is a range of stables built in the early 19th century, with some later alterations. The structure is made of snecked rubble with stone dressings and features a stone tiled roof that has raised coped verges and a stone ridge. The stables are arranged in a U-shape, with the central range measuring about 70 metres long. The south elevation of each wing includes a door with a segmental head, and there is a central gable with a weather-boarded front and an ogee-headed window. The central range has 22 bays, some of which are open, with 5 stable doors. The east wing contains 5 bays, while the west wing has 4 bays. The interior is not accessible.
