Description
This barn, located 65 yards to the east of Lyegrove Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rubble with a pantile roof featuring coped verges. It has seven small bays and a collar truss roof. The barn includes an off-centre gabled entry porch made of coursed, squared rubble. To the right of the porch, there is a lean-to compartment that has two entrance holes for pigeons or chickens, along with ledges and nesting boxes inside. To the left, there is a projecting engine shed made of rubble with a slate roof, which features a large segmental arch opening.
