Description
The Godwin chest tomb is located 8 metres south of the southwest corner of the south porch of the Church of St Mary. This chest tomb commemorates John Godwin, who died in 1845. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features square inscribed panels, vermiculated corner pilasters, and a moulded cornice.
