Description

This dovecote, located about 40 metres northeast of Hill Court, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone and sandstone rubble, with stone dressings and quoins. The roof is pyramidal, covered with stone slates, and features a brick chimney. The building has a square plan.

The south front includes a plank door with a segmental head and a cross window above, which also has leaded lights and a segmental head. On the east side, there is a plank door at the upper level with a segmental head. The west side features a two-light window at the ground floor, which has a timber lintel and leaded lights, along with some brick repair work.
