Description
This is a dovecote located 100 metres south-west of Court of Hill, dated 1767 as indicated by a weather-vane. It is constructed of brick with a moulded brick-capped rubble plinth and features a brick band at a high level. The dovecote has an octagonal plan and a plain-tile roof, which is topped by an open-arched lantern with a lead cupola. The entrance consists of a plain boarded door set in a half-round-headed frame with a semicircular arched brick lintel. There are no windows. Inside, the potence remains in place along with inserted timber nesting boxes.
