Description
Cott Lodge is a lodge that was formerly part of the Saltram Estate. It is constructed from killas rubble with rubble quoin rustication and features a wheat-reed thatched hipped roof. The roof has a central rubble stack topped with two diagonally-set brick shafts. The building has a small rectangular two-room plan and is a single storey. The road-facing front has two windows, each with two 4-pane, 2-light casements. There is a doorway at the center of the left-hand end, which is set within an open porch. The porch has a thatch from the main roof that projects over a wide braced opening with rustic latticed sides, and it contains a planked door. The interior has not been inspected.
