Description

This is a row of twelve small houses located on Boringdon Terrace, Plymstock, built in the early 19th century. Built of incised stucco, with some areas of render, the roofs are mostly dry slate to numbers 2-4, although the others have been replaced with asbestos slate; numbers 9-11 have bracketed eaves, and hipped roof dormers with 20th-century glazing. The houses follow a double-depth plan, with one room at the front and an entrance hall to the left of each.

The houses are two storeys high, each with a single-window front. They have 20th-century replacement windows with tripartite horns and glazing bars to numbers 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11. Original doorcases include pedimented and elliptical arches at numbers 6, 9, and 11, an elliptical arch at number 4, and a pilastered design with consoles and an original panelled door with flush panels at number 2. The interiors have not been inspected.
