Description

A house, likely dating from the late 18th century, is situated in Plymstock, Hooe (Lower). The exterior is rendered stucco with a steep dry slate roof featuring late 19th-century crested clay ridge tiles, and rendered brick end stacks to the original section. The building has an L-shaped plan, incorporating a hip-roofed wing set at right angles to the front on the left. The symmetrical front façade features two storeys and three windows, plus a one-window-range wing. The mid-19th century consists of 12-pane hornless sash windows, and a central doorway with a slate hood. The original door has six fielded panels. A glazed porch is present on the inner angle of the wing, also with similar windows. The interior remains uninspected, but is potentially of interest.
