Description
This is an 18th-century barn located adjacent to the northeast of Wixenford Farmhouse. It features local rubble walls and a steep asbestos slate roof with a half-hipped end on the right. The barn has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, presenting a long, low range with some openings that are boarded up. On the first floor, there are two widely spaced doorways, while the ground floor includes one window and three doorways, with the right-hand doorway featuring an old panelled door. The right-hand return of the barn has six tiers of pigeon holes in the upper part. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to retain its original floor and roof structures.
