Description

The lime kilns located south-east of Haye Farmhouse date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed from local rubble and consist of a pair of squat semicircular towers that are built into a bank at the rear. These towers are connected by an elliptical arch, featuring arched kiln openings. The eastern end of the structure has been extended with a large round-arched kiln opening. This pair of kilns forms a good group with the nearby farmhouse and barn.
