Description

The building is a former coach house, likely built in 1839 by G W Braikenridge, a Bristol antiquary. It is constructed of pennant rubble with a slate roof and bracketted eaves. A scalloped bargeboard appears on the principal gable end. The long side features segmental-headed openings, originally serving as a coach house and stable window, alongside a garage door. A short (gable end) side incorporates a ground floor bay and a sash window above, with a decorative surround composed of reclaimed sculptural fragments, probably from a 17th-century Bristol chimneypiece.
