Description
This is an early 19th century pair of buildings located on the north side of Highdale Road. The front is rendered and four stories high, featuring a cornice above the second floor and a parapet with swept-up ends. Plain pilasters are evident. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the first floor contains French windows. A trellised verandah with a delicate Gothic handrail extends across the first floor. The entrances are set back on either side. The buildings form a group with number 5, The White House, numbers 11 to 15 (odd), Woodspring District Offices, and Christ Church Chapel Hill.
