Description

These are a pair of early 18th century buildings on the High Street. The front facade is constructed of whitewashed brick and plaster, with an old tiled roof and a wooden cornice moulding, featuring two gabled dormers in the attic. The building is two storeys high with an attic space. Modern casement windows arranged in a canted bay are set into the ground floor, sheltered by a pentice roof. The first floor has two fluted Doric pilasters supporting an entablature, framing two triple-light sash windows with glazing bars. The buildings are part of a group which includes numbers 48 to 88 (even), numbers 94 to 100 (even), and a barn in the garden of numbers 62 and 64.
