The buildings are two storeys high with attics and include two gabled dormers. The shop windows are covered by pentice tiled roofs. Historically, Nos 75 and 77 were known as the Mermaid Inn until 1789. Nos 57 and 83 (odd) and No 63A and 79A are part of a group of buildings.
