Description

No. 80 High Street is a building with a timber framework that is exposed internally, dating from the 15th or early 16th century. It was refaced in the 18th and 19th centuries. The exterior features colour washed brick and a parapet that screens the roof. The building has three storeys and two nearly flush sash windows on the upper floors, with window aprons on the second floor. The ground floor has a projecting shop front from the 19th century, which includes wooden mullions and segmentally headed lights. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 48 to 88 (even), Nos. 94 to 100 (even), and a barn in the garden of Nos. 62 and 64.
