Description

Thatchway Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse in Congresbury, situated on Wrington Road in Iwood. It is a render-faced building with double Roman tile roofs, laid out in an L-shape. The main two-bay range runs parallel to the road, and there is an advanced wing set at a right angle. The windows on the main range are 3-light oak windows with ovolo-moulded mullions. The windows in the advanced wing are 19th-century casements. A central doorway is topped by a flat hood supported on plain brackets, and it has a plank door. There are two rendered stacks at each end of the building.
