Description

This is a barn located to the north-west of Urchinwood Manor, likely built in the 17th century. It is constructed from colourwashed rubble, with some rendered areas on the midstrey and the north gable end. The roof is made of pantiles, featuring a stone tile eaves course on the left side. There is an offset buttress on the left and a four-light oak ovolo-moulded mullion under a wooden lintel. To the right, there is a single slit opening. The central midstrey has 19th-century ogee-headed double doors with glazing. Inside, there is a simple tie and collar beam structure supporting the through purlin roof. The west facade includes 20th-century double doors and casement windows, with a similar 20th-century window on the north facade.
