Description
Ilex Cottage, Trellis House, and Byegones are part of a curved early 19th-century terrace located on the corner with Highdale Road in East Clevedon. The buildings are two stories high and feature a roughcast front with some incised coursing. They have a continuous slate roof with projecting eaves and round-headed windows that are framed in wood. The windows are sashes with Gothick glazing bars. Byegones has a later shop front situated on the corner to the left. The doorways are also round-headed and have trellised porches with tented canopies, along with traceried fanlights and six-panel doors. All the listed buildings in the Triangle area of East Clevedon, including Byegones, form a group.
