Description

The Wilderness, formerly known as Woodborough Lodge, is a large mid-19th century house located on a hillside overlooking Clevedon Bay. The building has two storeys, with a gabled section of two storeys plus an attic that projects forward on the right side. It is rendered and whitewashed, featuring plain pilaster treatment and projecting eaves. The house has three windows, mostly original sashes with glazing bars. Surrounding the ground floor is a trellised wooden verandah, which includes a pierced anthemion motif.
