17 And 17A, Hill Road

The buildings at 17 and 17A Hill Road are a pair of three-storey properties, likely dating from the mid-19th century, with subsequent alterations. They have a roughcast front and a hipped slate roof. The front features three windows with simple surrounds on the second floor, and two projecting three-light canted bays that extend over the ground-floor windows. The ground and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars. An entrance is located on the side of the building. These properties are included on the heritage list solely for their contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings, which comprise numbers 5 to 17 (odd), 17A, 19, and 21.
