Description

Prospect House is a two-story house dating from the mid-19th century. It has a roughcast front elevation facing Prince's Road, and a hipped slate roof. The front features two windows, each with three lights, fitted with shutters in wooden frames. These windows contain sash glazing bars. A trellised verandah extends across the ground floor, incorporating an anthemion motif. The entrance is on the right side, sheltered by a trellised porch also with an anthemion motif. Prospect House is part of a group that includes numbers 5 to 17 (odd), 17a, 19 and 21.
