Description

The buildings at 54 and 54A Fore Street date from the 17th and 18th centuries. They are two storeys high and have a rendered exterior, with the upper floor slightly overhanging the ground floor. The front features three sash windows with vertical glazing bars. There are two recessed doorways. The roof is gabled and covered with slate tiles coated in a slurry. The listing includes buildings to the rear, which are supported by pillars and have an open ground floor, arranged around a courtyard.
