Description
Nos. 17 and 18A on Thames Street are two-storey buildings with attics, dating from the early 19th century, although they conceal much older structures at the rear. The front elevation is rendered and features a date plaque. There are three flat-arched dormers with casement windows that have glazing bars, as well as three flat-arched windows with double-hung sashes, also with glazing bars. The buildings have a plinth, and the left-hand door is modern with a wooden architrave and a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. The right-hand door is also modern, featuring a hood on carved brackets and two steps leading up to it. All the listed buildings on Thames Street are part of a group.
