Description

Abbey Mill House, also known as The Vicarage, is an 18th-century building, possibly with an earlier core, located against the south side of The Checker. It features a double roof covered in tiles and has a gable facing the road. The front elevation is stuccoed and includes one window on each storey, which is a double hung sash with glazing bars set under a flat arch. There is a plinth at the base, and the entrance has a modern door beneath a flat arch, topped with a flat wood hood supported by brackets. All the listed buildings along Thames Street form a group.
